Margot Petropavlovsky and Chloé Taieb, the co-founders of CreativArch, have a unique journey that has brought them together. They both studied architecture at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris La Villette, where from the day they met knew they wanted to be business partners. They were both top of their promotion and their projects were recognized for their innovative and sustainable designs. Margot and Chloé both had a strong desire to create projects that raise awareness and provide solutions for current challenges. They realized that architecture could be a tool for change and could create a positive impact on society and the environment.
Margot and Chloé's passion for architecture took them around the world during their studies. They completed one year of their Master's degree at the UFRJ Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and another year at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Israel. Throughout their studies, they worked on a variety of projects in different parts of the world, including an art center and theater in Bulgaria, a school in Portugal, an urban development and housing project in Cuba, and several residential and commercial buildings in Paris. These experiences helped them to develop a global perspective on architecture and design, which they continue to bring to their work at CreativArch.
After completing their studies in architecture, Margot and Chloé wanted to gain business and entrepreneurship experiences and pursued a master's degree at HEC Paris and Ecole Polytechnique de Paris. They were also involved in large-scale projects with governments and global investors, which helped them to develop their skills and knowledge in project management, finance, and sustainability. Their goal was to complement their architectural skills with business and entrepreneurship skills, which would enable them to create a successful and sustainable architectural practice.
Since starting their own architectural firm, Margot and Chloé were involved in a large-scale project in Ghana, Africa, to build sustainable communities. They lived there to understand the cultural context and worked closely with the government and local architects and engineers on-site to find the best local materials to design eco-friendly communities. Additionally, they began active research to design modular construction systems to address the challenge of building high-quality affordable homes. They also designed luxury villas for private clients in the United States and created various architectural concepts for offices, cultural centers, and commercial buildings worldwide, which allowed them to express their creativity in various ways.
Margot and Chloé's journey from architecture students to successful entrepreneurs is an inspiration to others. They have shown that by combining their passion and skills with business and entrepreneurship, they can make a positive impact on society and the environment. Their experiences reinforce the idea that pursuing diverse interests and gaining a wide range of experiences can lead to successful entrepreneurship.
